When I became a bat mitzvah, my mom encouraged me to do a meaningful mitzvah "project," and I decided that I wanted to do something that would help other kids get a good education. I chose to bake cookies to raise money for NNJKIDS, and it was so much fun that I have been baking ever since. It was really gratifying to get so much support from friends and family to benefit such an important cause.
